Canada allows every year permanent residence to skilled works based on their education, work experience, knowledge of English and/or French, and other criteria that is necessary to establish economically in Canada.

You application is eligible for processing as Federal Skilled Worker if:

• you have at least one year of continuous work experience in one of the 24 eligible occupations;
  you have a qualifying offer of arranged employment; or
  you are eligible to apply through the PhD stream.

If you meet the minimum application processing criteria, then you should also have at least one year of continuous full-time paid work experience or the equivalent in part-time continuous employment within the last 10 years in Skill Type 0 (managerial occupations) or Skill Level A (professional occupations) or B (technical occupations and skilled trades) on the Canadian National Occupational Classification list.

Federal Skilled Worker’s application is also assessed according to the six factors point selection grid applicant must obtain minimum 67 points out of 100 points to qualify to immigrate to Canada.
